Classic fine-knit twinsets made of cotton or merino wool are widespread. Only rarely will you find one made of soft, naturally shiny alpaca wool.
The fine hair of the humpless sheep camels from the Andes is one of the most precious natural fibres.
As a hollow fibre, alpaca provides excellent temperature regulation and is extremely hard-wearing despite its fineness: It weighs only half as much as the same amount of sheep’s wool, but is three times more tear-resistant. The ideal material for a versatile twinset that you will enjoy wearing often – all year round.
For a perfect, long-lasting fit, its fully fashioned and knitted directly into shape.
The back, front and sleeves are individually fashioned and carefully stitched together – instead of being cut and sewn from knitted fabric, as is unfortunately often the case. With comfortable rib-knit edging at the neckline, sleeves and hem.
Straight cut. Length in size 12: 56cm (22") (short-sleeved jumper) and 58cm (22.8") (cardigan). 100% alpaca wool. Hand wash. Made in Peru.
