The secret of the new lightweight is the foamed EVA midsole. In comparison to classic styles with a leather and cork footbed, it reduces the weight by about 300g (10.6 oz).
Permanently waterproof, breathable and climate-regulating.
While simple impregnations only offer protection for a limited time, the integrated Gore-Tex® membrane never lets water pass through. Yet it is still breathable and ensures a constantly balanced inner climate – so your feet are always comfortably dry.
Robust. Shock-absorbing. Wear- and slip-resistant.
The shoes are made of 1.6 to 1.8mm (0.06" to 0.07") thin yet durable nubuck leather. Double leather padding protects your ankle. The distinctive studded profile of the Vibram® Zamberlan® Pillow rubber sole ensures a good grip on mud and gravel as well as on slippery pavements. The special stud construction also absorbs shocks to the joints and spine.
