Platform boots by German shoe specialist Werner. Made of vegetable tanned leather. With light TPR sole.
Founded in 1911, family business Werner from shoe city Pirmasens belongs to the few who still handcraft fashionable shoes, from the best materials and ecologically sustainable.
The leather is fully vegetable tanned and dyed in Germany.
Due to the elaborate process, it stays free from contaminants, is particularly skin-friendly, and also softer and smoother than conventionally chrome tanned leather. The thick, light thermoplastic rubber (LTPR) profiled sole weighs far less than usual. It is very durable, resistant to wear and tear, offers great insulation from cold of the ground and shock absorbance while walking. Zip fastener inside. Calf width adjustable with a tab and rubber insert. Soft, warm loden lining.
