In a luxurious blend with cashmere and silk.
In Europe, the Pacific Brushtail Possum is largely unknown as a source of wool. In New Zealand, on the other hand, people appreciate the delicate, downy, yet non-pilling hair of the nocturnal marsupial.
The pullover weighs only 127 grammes (in size 12).
Since possum hair consists of hollow fibres, it is pleasantly light yet extra warm – as much as 55% warmer than merino wool. The addition of cashmere and silk give the pullover a luxurious feel. Bow and black edging on the round neckline, and sleeves and hem which make the garment look beautifully feminine.
Casual straight style. Length in size 12: 58cm (22.8"). Colour: Grey/black. 40% possum hair, 40% cashmere, 20% silk. Contains non-textile parts of animal origin. Hand wash.
