Usually, you have to choose between fashionably chic or comfortable, practical clothing. But Danish designer Ilse Jacobsen has managed to masterfully combine the two. This smartly cut raincoat is made of a softshell fabric that repels wind and rain – even along the taped seams. And remains breathable all the same. The soft elastic weave allows for a slim, feminine fit that is not at all restrictive. The fabric, which was originally meant for sportswear, has such a stylish finish to it that it is now smart enough for the office, shopping in the city, or travel.

The fabric wicks moisture away from your skin to the surface where it can quickly evaporate should you perspire. Flattering, fitted cut with rear kick pleat. Attached rain hood with elastic drawstrings and stoppers. Practical 2-way front zipper. Two zippered slit pockets. Zippered money pocket on left sleeve. All zippers are rubberised to make them waterproof.
