These currently very popular dégradée patterns are obtained using various techniques. Jacquard weave is by far the most expressive (but also most elaborate) technique: Here, differently coloured weft threads blend with the light-coloured warp threads of this Italian scarf. This creates a diverse positive/negative effect on both sides. Single-sided printed or even dyed patterns that look the same on the front and back are no comparison.
Washing and brushing increases the fabric’s density and makes it extra fluffy.
Thanks to the high wool content, your new scarf will make you feel pleasantly warm, has an incredibly soft feel and is wrinkle-resistant as well as odour-neutral. A dash of polyamide provides durability.
Measures 200 x 50 cm (78.7" x 19.7"). Narrow sides with fringes. 80% wool, 20% polyamide. Hand wash. Made in Italy.
