Elegant espadrilles by [espadrij].
Espadrilles are the Mediterranean summer shoes par excellence. But when traditionally made of fabric and jute, they often only last for one season. And inferior mass-production makes the lightweight slip-on shoe more increasingly a short-lived disposable item. These durable hand-sewn originals are quite different as they are made of high-quality suede leather.
Made by experienced shoemakers in Spain.
German label [espadrij] works exclusively with a small selection of factories in France and Spain, who still produce authentic espadrilles: The leather is cut by hand and durably sewn to the hard-wearing jute sole. It adapts to the shape of your feet comfortably after a short period of wearing the shoes. Finally, a totally natural rubber outsole is welded on. The impact-resistant material provides better protection than glued rubber ones against hot sand and wet pavements.
