Casual elegance – made to go with the best casual outfits. Classic bowling shoes were the source of inspiration for these slim, high closed retro style shoes. The really soft leather is smoothly and shiny polished. Also, just like top quality business shoes, these sneakers are made in a classic shoemaker’s style.
The shaft, leather insole and the lightweight, flexible and weather resistant rubber sole are robustly stitched.
Very different from mass-produced glued shoes. Spanish company Cordwainer is one of the few that still fashion modern designs in the proper “goodyear welted” way. Furthermore they are produced in their home country and at a special price. Padding at the heel and the edge of the shaft prevents pressure points and chafing.
