There are plenty of similar Irish fisherman’s jumpers. But the truly authentic classics that have actually been made in Ireland have become rare – and unsurpassed in terms of quality and workmanship.
Symbolic Aran designs instead of any made-up pattern:
‘‘Honeycomb’’, the plastic knitted items, have always been the symbol of happiness. The cable pattern stands for the ropes of the fishing boats and symbolises safety. And while cheap jumpers often lack any pattern at the back, this has been patterned all the way round. Colorful splashes of color give the blue melange a fashionable look.

Merino wool makes the Troyer robust and durable. Soft cashmere provides supple wearing comfort. The high closable zipper collar ensures it is nice and warm. Ideal as an outdoor mid season jumper.
Straight, comfortable casual style with wide rib-knit cuffs. Length in size 40: 70cm (27.5″). Colour: Blue mottled. 95% wool, 5% cashmere. Hand wash.
