The French town of Thiers has been producing high-quality cutting tools since the 14th century. To this day a craft guild watches over the production of knives in the town. A prime example of the high quality is these household scissors from the Déglon cutlery workshop founded in 1921. For a very good price.
Extremely clean cutting and precise. Strong, versatile (and beautiful).
The cutting blades are made of highly sharpened stainless steel (2Cr14) and cut perfectly right to the very tip. They glide through paper, cardboard, textiles, ... Bring potted plants into shape and even cut woody herb stems with a light, clean cut. The large oval handles fit securely and firmly in your hand. The handle grips made of robust bamboo wood (instead of plastic) are riveted for durability and underscore the handcrafted retro design.
