Leading sommelier and co-developer Silvio Nitzsche* is convinced of this. The special curved shape at the bottom of the bowl reflects the colour of the wine particularly vividly. This creates a visual depth that allows you “to look into the heart of the wine”. At the same time, the surface area of the wine in the glass increases, providing intensive aeration and maximum flavour development.

Hand-blown without the addition of lead and using traditional methods. Dishwasher safe, however, washing by hand is recommended.

*Silvio Nitzsche: at that time the youngest 3-star sommelier in Germany. Awarded the international “Award of Honour” in 2019.
After completing his hospitality management training, Silvio Nitzsche (born in 1974) worked in several places in his German homeland and abroad. In 2000, Silvio Nitzsche became the 26-year-old chief sommelier in Dieter Müller’s 3-star restaurant “Schloss Lerbach”. In 2007 he fulfilled his personal dream with the opening of his own wine bar in Dresden, Germany. In April 2019 the magazine “Der Feinschmecker” awarded him the international “Award of Honour”, in recognition of his “commitment to and knowledge of wine”.
FRESH
For extremely fresh white wines, Prosecco or any variety of sparkling wine (including champagne), and light rosé wines. H 24cm (9.4“), diameter 8cm (3.1“), content approx. 340ml.
STRAIGHT
For single grape varieties and fruity/aromatic red and white wines. H 27cm (10.6“), diameter 9cm (3.5“), content approx. 540ml.
INTENSE
