No comparison to conventional upholstery with a simple, flat foam core. This one is a full 10cm(!) (3.9") deep and filled with polystyrene/polyester chips. A wonderfully thick and cosy filling: Even on hard floors it will support you softly as if on clouds.
Three cross-stitched compartments make the upholstery extremely flexible.
Simply fold up the three upholstery sections and fix them in place with the strap with hook-and-loop fastener, and there you have a comfortably thick seat that can easily accommodate up to two people. Fold up a compartment and lean it against a wall or balcony parapet: The stool immediately becomes a comfortable chair. Completely spread out: A chaise longue or a guest bed on which even tall people can stretch out comfortably. A spontaneous overnight visit is a pleasure: Instead of the usual 60cm (23.6"), the mattress is 75cm (29.5") wide – 25% more than usual.
